What recent reviews say

Reviewers consistently experience warm, attentive service and swift turnarounds, with staff often going beyond normal scope at no charge. Named mechanic Josh and receptionist Katie are praised for patience and clarity. Faults arise when diagnostic work is weak or quotes feel inflated; one reviewer found labour rates hard to justify.

ABS handles suspension, brakes, minor services, and aircon work. Their policy of free courtesy labour on small jobs stands out. A $400 minor service was called fair by most but pricey by one. Newer vehicle owners report confidence; older car owners with complex faults encountered frustration.

Best for: owners of newer or well-diagnosed vehicles who value quick turnaround and friendly service
Think twice if: you have an older car with complex faults or if labour quotes feel high; diagnostic accuracy on pre-scanner vehicles has been inconsistent

Autobahn Mechanical and Electrical Services Midland

4.9(805)✓ Google-verified

Leon and the Autobahn team build trust through clear upfront communication and quick turnaround on work. Most customers return repeatedly, citing honest pricing and genuine care for their vehicles. A handful note sharp markups on labour and parts-radiator caps quoted at $295, brake pads over $1,100-that undermine the value perception. The business manages European cars, performs detailed services from oil changes to major repairs, and often includes complimentary washing and vacuuming. Photo updates during repairs and same-day fixes on minor work are common. One caller reported being hung up on without explanation, suggesting inconsistent front-desk practice.
