Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Equans holds a 4.8-star rating from a small review pool, with all feedback at four stars or higher. The business operates across Australia and New Zealand with multiple locations, offering HVAC servicing alongside commercial refrigeration, electrical, and energy efficiency solutions. However, review evidence is limited.
Reviewers consistently report excellent experiences with installers and technicians who explain systems clearly, arrive on time, and leave worksites clean. Named staff like Max, Stuart, Ben, Zain, Ry, and Jas appear across multiple reviews for responsiveness and expertise, whether handling annual maintenance, emergency repairs, or complex 18-year system replacements. The business earns trust for long-term relationships: several reviewers mention using them repeatedly over 5+ years for AC and solar work, and one recalls them installing an original ducted system nearly two decades ago. On challenging jobs-like diagnosing Western Power faults or accessing ceiling-mounted units-teams show persistence and thoroughness rather than quick workarounds.
Customers consistently report being well-guided through complex air conditioning choices by named sales staff like Tiffany, Troy, and Bruce, who explain options without pressure and work within budget. Installation teams arrive punctually, finish faster than quoted, remove all debris, and earn praise for professionalism and finishing quality; a three-year follow-up showed Troy responding the same day to a post-warranty inquiry and arranging a same-morning replacement. \n\nThe business serves residential new builds, ducted system replacements, and evaporative-to-reverse-cycle conversions across the Perth metro area. Reviewers highlight a culture where technicians like Shaun, Kai, and Marjo diagnose honestly (one customer saved thousands when Marjo found the actual fault instead of pushing an unnecessary motor replacement), walk through system setup after finishing, and staff reach out with troubleshooting even on frivolous questions.
